NEW TRIP ADDED – St. Anton in Austria will be epic!

NEW TRIP ADDED – St. Anton in Austria will be epic! Get your plane ticket and show up, we will take care of everything.

St. Anton am Arlberg is an Austrian village in the Tyrolean Alps that is boosting around 305 km of downhill skiing. You will feel like a star when you ski the Run of Fame, 65 km of mountain beauty, uninterrupted.

We are staying at the four star Gourmet Hotel Schwarzer Adler built by the Knights of St. John in 1570! The hotel impresses with beautiful rooms, amazing cuisine, and an extensive spa. The Adler Cuisine was awarded a Toque by Gault&Millau and praised in the Guide Michelin. The spa is a beautiful oasis with 5 different saunas, an outdoor and indoor pool, and a steam room. You’ll be able to relax after a full day of skiing at no additional cost.

Everything is right around the corner. The toboggan run, the ski school, the valley station of the cable car, and the town are only a few minutes away.

We arrived on Super Bowl Sunday and Vail was on FIRE! The town was packed with people from all over the world, most runs were open, and the snow was perfect. Some of our guests from New York were a little bitter about the Patriots being in the super bowl final again but what can I say: they won again. I lived in Massachusetts for 10 years and kept my football pride for myself … everything to make feel our guests good!

We explored the famous Black Bowls and enjoyed Blue Sky Basin, both areas were closed last year due to lack of snow … We went bowling, ice curling, shopping, and explored a new restaurant for dinner each night.

We sang and danced at Pepi’s and tried to stay awake for late night après at The Red Lion. Our farewell dinner at Almresi was outstanding. The team at the German run restaurant filled our hearts and tummies with love and delicious food.

Todd and Julie documented our journey, enjoy their slide show!
